Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.
Is there freedom in guilt that has been totally exposed?
What must Mr. Floyd's family feel...there is no victory for them.
The lost their father, lover, son, sibling.
George Floyd, we are here. I am white, and cannot contemplate that fear.
We are the real oath keepers.
You, me, all of us.
Our oath, to do no harm.
To protect those that need safety.
Today is crushing. It put a bow on Mr. Floyd's case, but the fallout from losing a loved one, one murdered (oh, so many, many, many have been by those we are told are our protectors). Our blind innocence is being stripped away. Like the skin being pulled so far,
until we feel the cracking and the splitting.
I thank God for my cracking skin, splitting soul. For those that see beyond today, look to the future of what we can do, evolve, treat everyone like God.
I have to do what I can.
Hearing the verdict, I sobbed.
Sobbed for the families
the tensions, we are so far apart, so many have lost their way channeling their needs through power and greed.
Mr. Floyd, you did not ask for this. No one asked for this. I hope you have found peace. And you see the world left behind, but so changed by you, living a simple happy life.
You are the catalyst, the brave one who knew your time was here.
You asked for help.
You asked for your mother.
It was not your fault. I hope you can har me, you are a hero, the involuntary catalyst, all powerful. The Universe is listening.
Please find peace. We will take care of the rest.
