Angel Kisses

My screaming baby was born covered in Angel Kisses.
Some small
some large
covered with all the love from the heavens.
When she wants to feel close to me
she comes, closes her ancient and innocent
eyes
holds my shoulders
and puts our two Angel Kisses together.
We both have them, our 3rd eyes, matching.
I wonder...
how our connection spans
how far it will expand
if she was a gift from my father.
My doctor told me about spider medicine
how I have weaved myself throughout my life
to bring back the 18 pieces of myself
scattered through this lifetime.
I came home and my daughter
had drawn a spiderweb, full of Sakura, cherry blossoms.
All those parts that I blamed myself for losing
She showed me their beauty
allowing all of those parts to reconnect
through petals
and the promise of Spring
and the sacred geometry of the heart of the web.
